| BBQ Beef Brisket 1 T Water 1 5lb Brisket 1 T Mustard 1/3-1/2 C Ketchup 2-3 T Pickle Relish ½ Small Bottle BBQ Sauce 1 T Horseradish |
Combine and mix all ingredients except brisket. Wrap meat in heavy foil after poring marinade over it seal foil and reiterate overnight. Bring meat to room temp don’t open it and bake at 3-4 hours at 300 degrees. |
| Spaghetti Salad 1lb Spaghetti 2Lg Cucumbers 3 Small Tomatoes 1 Red Onion 1 Green Bell Pepper 1 Jar 2.75oz Shilling Salad Supreme* 2 Pkg Good Season Ital dressing |
Break spaghetti into 3” length and cook, drain. Chop cucumbers, onions, bell pepper and tomatoes. Mix good seas, dressing following directions on package. Toss cooked drained spaghetti, cucumber tomatoes, onion, bell pepper and salad supreme and mixed dressing together. Chill overnight in fridge and Enjoy! |
| Spinach Salad 3 Bunches Spinach Washed and Torn 5 Large Handfuls of Bean Sprouts ½ Lb Bacon Fried crispy and Crumbled ½ Lb Fresh Sliced Mushrooms 1 Can Water Chestnuts Sliced 6 Boiled eggs Chopped Coarsely Dressing ½ Cup Salad Oil 3/4 Cup Sugar 1/3 Cup Ketchup ¼ Cup Vinegar 1 T Worcestershire Sauce 1 Grated Onion 1/8 t Salt |
Mix and allow time for blending. |
| Kris Kringle Cookies ½ Cup Butter 1 ½ Tsp Baking Powder ¼ Cup Shortening 1 Tsp Vanilla ½ Tsp Salt 2 ¼ Cup Flower 1 Cup Sugar 2 Eggs Well Beaten |
Blend shortening and butter together once mixed add vanilla Gradually add sugar, beat until creamy. Add beaten eggs then add all dry ingredients. Chill dough overnight. Roll out chilled dough on lightly floured surface. Roll to 1/8 inch thick. Use cookie cutter and cut out desired shape. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes until golden around edges. |
| Lemon Meringue Pie 4 T Cornstarch 1 Cup Sugar ¼ t Salt 5 T Lemon Juice 1 Lemon Rind 3 Egg Yolks 2 Cup Boiling Water 2 T Butter 1 Baked Pie Shell In pan mix cornstarch, salt and sugar mix well. Stir in lemon juice and lemon rind. Stir, mixture will be thick. Beat 3 egg yolks and put in lemon mixture. Stir really good. Stir in boiling water. Cook until thick- med heat takes awhile! Remove to cool. Stir in butter and poor into baked pie shell |
Meringue 3 Egg Whites 6 T Sugar ¼ Cup Cream Of Tartar Beat three egg whites gradually add sugar and cream of tartar. Beat until stiff peaks. Take Big Spoon and spread around crust to seal. Bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes and cool. |
